Troubleshooting

1) The stove does not light

- Make sure there is gas in the cylinder

- Is the gas supply open and can you hear gas leaking? If there is no gas leaking, check the nozzle. First, remove the stove from the cylinder. You can access the nozzle by unscrewing the burner by hand (if it is hot, let it cool down!). There is a nozzle under the burner, loosen it with a No. 7 wrench. Blow through the nozzle or poke it with a thin wire from the nut to the thread. Do not use objects wider than the diameter of the nozzle, as this could make the situation worse. After cleaning, assemble and light the stove. If it still does not work, contact the manufacturer or service.

2) The flame goes out during cooking and the burner overheats

Causes: 1) Incorrect gas-air mixture: too much air and not enough gas enters the burner. The flame "falls" into the body of the stove. 2) Wind: A strong gust of wind can blow the flame on the surface and push it inside the appliance. 3) Clogged or dirty nozzle: Food residue or grease can clog the main nozzle. The gas then flows with the wrong pressure or direction and does not burn on the burner surface. 4) Incorrect assembly or damage to the stove: If the burner is not correctly installed or is deformed, the flame will not be directed outwards correctly.

Solution: Switch off the stove immediately! Let it cool down completely and check that the nozzles or holes are not blocked and make sure that the burner is assembled correctly. Repeated backfires can damage plastic parts or cause the gas cylinder to explode. When cooking, do not try to have the weakest flame possible, as it can weaken and "fall" into the burner due to wind or pressure fluctuations in the cylinder. Keep the stove under constant supervision.
